Napier is located on the East Coast of New Zealand’s North Island, and famous for its wine, food and horticulture industries.

Napier is also New Zealand’s Art Deco capital, with the city boasting a funky art deco architecture due to the rebuilding that took place after a severe earthquake in the 1930’s.

The wider Hawkes Bay region also includes neighbouring Hastings, also a coastal town. The region boasts a great climate and has nice beaches spread right along the coast that can entertain a variety of water sports.

During the Rugby World Cup tournament Napier’s Maclean Park will be hosting teams featuring teams from France, Canada and one other qualifying team.
